Christian Leaders Church

Part One: I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. Message Title: “I believe in God, therefore I Am”

The Apostle Creed Series – The Apostle Creed is one of the oldest statements of Faith. It is called an ecumenical creed because almost every Christian protestant of Catholic agrees with it. This is a perfect series for Christian Leaders to solidify their beliefs. This Apostle Creed series will help you get grounded in the key beliefs of Christianity.

Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy universal Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Offering

As you make your offering today, Pray for the development of the Sociology class. Dr. Feddes and President Reyenga are working on this class together. Many young people go to college and become critical of God and the church after taking the sociology class. This class cost $25,000 to produce. Your gifts will help us complete this class and get it up as soon as possible.

Scripture Reading

Ephesians 4:4-9

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why ita]”>[a] says:

“When he ascended on high,
    he took many captives
    and gave gifts to his people.”b]”>[b]

(What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regionsc]”>[c]? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)
